Ecosystems quality
The good quality of coastal ecosystems is an enssential condition for the proper development of ecological states and the economic activities depending on them. Shellfish farms, bathing areas, as well as professional fishing and fishing on foot require regular monitoring of the quality of the environment. Water and sediment sampling and the analysis of possible biological (such as phytoplankton) or chemical (such as metals) indicators make it possible to establish these quality states and to highlight the degree of eutrophication of the environment.
